Miracle mixture is also called as silver alloy admix. Miracle Mix offers the proven formula of glass ionomer cement with 100% fine, silver alloy powder for lasting core build-ups, repair and block-outs.
Miracle mixture has high radiopacity and a strong colour contrast. A significant number of liquid and powder modifications were soon incorporated in glass ionomers to improve the physical, chemical and mechanical properties.
Ag-Sn particles are admixed in some formulations to produce an amalgam substitute. This combination came to known as the “miracle mixture”
